Thank you for choosing to work with Mary McQuaid. This policy is intended to provide clear expectations regarding cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and participant responsibility.

Coaching Services

• Coaching packages are non-refundable once purchased, unless otherwise stated in writing.

• Coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Notice must be provided by email to hello@marymcquaid.com.

• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.

• Coaching sessions must be used within the term of the package purchased (3 or 6 months from the purchase date), unless another timeframe is agreed in writing.

Sessions not used within the applicable term are forfeited.

• Unused coaching sessions are non-transferable.

Workshops and Events

• Unless otherwise stated, workshop and event registrations are non-refundable.

• Workshop and event registrations may be transferred to another participant only with prior written approval from Mary McQuaid.

• If Mary McQuaid cancels a workshop or event, participants will receive a full refund of fees paid directly to Mary McQuaid.

• Mary McQuaid is not responsible for travel, lodging, meals, transportation, or other expenses incurred by participants.

Retreats

• Cancellation policies for retreats hosted directly by Mary McQuaid will be published on the registration page for that retreat and will govern.

• Unless a retreat-specific policy states otherwise, cancellations for retreats hosted directly by Mary McQuaid must be made in writing at least 30 days before the retreat start date to receive a refund, less a $50 administrative and payment-processing fee.

• Cancellations received fewer than 30 days before the retreat start date are non- refundable. If the participant’s spot can be filled from a waitlist, Mary McQuaid may, at her discretion, issue a refund less the $50 administrative and payment-processing fee.

• For retreats held in partnership with or through a third-party venue, such as Omega Institute, that venue handles registration and payment, and its own cancellation and refund policies govern. Refunds for those retreats are issued by the venue, not by Mary McQuaid.

• If a retreat hosted directly by Mary McQuaid is canceled by Mary McQuaid, participants will receive a full refund of amounts paid directly to Mary McQuaid, subject to any stated retreat terms.

• Mary McQuaid is not responsible for airfare, travel expenses, accommodations booked independently, travel insurance costs, or other participant expenses.

Digital Products and Downloadable Resources

• Due to the immediate access and downloadable nature of digital products, all sales are final.

• No refunds will be provided for digital products, recordings, meditations, downloadable resources, or similar digital content unless otherwise required by law.

Subscription Services

If subscription-based services are offered in the future, cancellation terms will be disclosed at the time of enrollment.

Participation and Well-Being

Coaching, workshops, and retreats may include experiential and contemplative practices.

Participation is voluntary. Mary McQuaid is not a medical or mental health provider, and nothing offered is a substitute for medical or mental health care. Participants are responsible for consulting their own healthcare provider as needed and for their own well-being during sessions, workshops, and retreats.

Exceptional Circumstances

Mary McQuaid may consider refund requests due to extraordinary circumstances, such as serious illness, injury, a death in the family, severe weather, or other events that make travel unsafe or impracticable, on a case-by-case basis. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive.

Approval is not guaranteed and remains at Mary McQuaid’s sole discretion.

When appropriate, Mary McQuaid may offer a refund, partial refund, transfer, or credit toward a future service or event. Documentation may be requested when needed to evaluate the request.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 14 business days.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mary McQuaid’s total liability arising from or related to any coaching service, workshop, event, retreat, digital product, or other offering shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant or purchaser for that specific service or product. This limitation

does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under New York law, including liability for gross negligence, reckless misconduct, willful misconduct, or intentional wrongdoing.

Severability

If any provision of this policy is found invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this website at the time of registration or purchase will govern.
